Andrew James "Andy" Herr

Andrew James “Andy” Herr, 54, of Indianapolis, passed away of June 22, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease. Andy was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 27, 1967 to the late Joseph N. and Harriet A. (Panyard) Herr.

Andy graduated from Grafton High School. Following his graduation, he went on to attend University of Wisconsin- Madison where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Economics.
Andy had a deeply rooted faith in Catholicism. He grew up in the Catholic faith. In his adult life, he was a member of Nativity Catholic Church where he was very active in his parish community.

His faith, family, and friends were of the upmost importance to Andy. He loved deeply and cared for everyone around him. Andy was strong-willed, but in the best way. He will be remembered for his faith in God and love of those he leaves behind.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Harriet, and his nephew, Logan Herr.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Susan Herr; siblings, Joseph G. (Lauren) Herr and Katherine “Katie” (Dan) Morgan; nephews, Brian Petranch and Brett Morgan; in-laws; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, coworkers, and friends.

Andy’s Life Celebration® visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Nativity Catholic Church, 7225 Southeastern Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46239. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 PM on Monday in the church. Please visit www.ORileyFuneralHome.com to sign the online guest registry.
