Donna Kay Lane

Donna Kay Lane, 72 of Evansville, Indiana, formerly of Indianapolis. She passed away May 12, 2022 in Macon, Georgia. She was born on October 11, 1949, in Shelbyville, Indiana, the daughter of Glen A and Betty June Buehling Bates.

Donna was a computer operator with Ameritech, retiring in 1994. Donna loved traveling around the country, she enjoyed watching murder mystery’s but mostly she loved spending time with her dog BO. Donna will be remembered for her sweetness, kindness and being generous. She loved to laugh.

Donna is proceeded in death by her parents Glen and Betty Bates, beloved husband Richard John “Jethro” Lane, brother Gary L. Bates. She is survived by her loving family, daughter Christina (Brady) Frost, grandchildren Austin J. Lane, Taylor L. Jarboe, Matthew S. Jarboe II, Logan B Frost, Hannah Frost, siblings, Bruce W. Bates, Kim A. Bates and Myra A Bates.

Visitation for Donna will be Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 2 - 6 pm at O'Riley Branson Funeral Service and Crematory at 6107 South East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A Celebration of Donna's life will be Monday, May 23, 2022, at 10 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery.
