Jennifer Dwyer

Jennifer Dwyer, 60, of Indianapolis, passed away during the early morning hours on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home in Indianapolis. Born May 27, 1957 Jennifer was the daughter of the late John and Marjorie (Murdock) Fletcher; her parents preceded her in death. On December 15, 1979 she was united in marriage to Mark W. Dwyer and he survives.

Jennifer earned her BSN degree from the University of Evansville and in 1993 became a licensed Nurse Practitioner. She worked at Indiana University Health as a nursing educator for nearly 30 years. She was an active member of various United Methodist Churches, as well as Chi Omega Sorority and the Junior League of Indianapolis. Jennifer enjoyed spending time outdoors by gardening, camping, and traveling to various National and State Parks. She will forever be remembered for her love and support to her family, friends, and animal companions.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Mark; her son, Noah A. Dwyer of Camby; and her daughter, Hannah K. Dwyer of Noblesville.

Family and friends will gather to honor and remember the life of Jennifer Dwyer from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St., Indianapolis. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home.
