Kathleen "Kay" Beeson

Kathleen (Kay) Beeson, of Flat Rock, formerly of Beech Grove, died on Tuesday, July 25, 2017. Kay was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Edinburgh, Indiana and formerly of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Beech Grove.

Kay was born October 25th, 1947 in Beech Grove, Indiana to Charles Joseph (Joe) and Kathleen Mildred (Kit) Buckel who preceded her in death. Her daughter, Anne M. (Ned) Endris and brother Father John J. Buckel also preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, James W. (Jim) Beeson. They were married at Saint James Catholic Church in Indianapolis on December 30, 1966. This loving union produced 15 children. She is survived by Gregory P. (Julie) Beeson, Joseph C. Beeson, Michael J. (Cara) Beeson, Mary Catherine (Mark) Schober, Patrick W. Beeson, Phillip A. Beeson, Bernadette M. Ball, Rita M. (Chad) Stuck, Lucia M. (Phil) Garber, Thomas A. (Heather) Beeson, John-Paul Beeson, David B. (Katelyn) Beeson, Stephen M. Beeson, and Dominic F. (Kaylyn) Beeson. She is also survived by eleven of her twelve siblings, Mary Lou (Gary) Hinderliter, Jean (Michael) Schoettle, Teresa (Jerome) Smith, Anne (Ned) Schoettle, Marjorie (Robert) Bostick, Robert (Martha) Buckel, Patricia (Walter) Lamperski, Joan (Daniel) Lutgring, Larry (Maryjo) Buckel, Judith (Robert) Parrett, and James Buckel. She is also survived by thirty seven grandchildren, seventy five nieces and nephews, and one hundred plus great nieces and nephews.

Her great loves in life were her Faith, husband, children, and grandchildren. She spent many wonderful days in and around her river home laughing, cooking and caring for them all. She had a very devout faith and spent many hours at Church and in prayer.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 28 from 2-8 pm at Daniel O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East St. (US Hwy 31 South). A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove on Saturday, July 29 at 9:30 am.
