Rosemary (Stumpf) Robinson

Rosemary E. (Stumpf) Robinson, 93, Indianapolis, passed away February 18, 2017. She was born May 29, 1923, to the late Oscar J. and Barbara L. (Albert) Stumpf.

She graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Rosemary worked for 40 years in real estate for Pennington Line Realtors. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 3660 and sang for many years with the Musicgals. She was a member of St. Roch Altar Society and the quilting club. She also volunteered for the Guardian Angel Guild and was a Daisy at the Benedictine Center. Rosemary loved being in the sun, on the boat, or sitting on her patio talking with neighbors. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She cherished her many opportunities to travel with her family and friends. Rosemary will be missed by all, and she will be remembered for her outgoing personality.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard F. Robinson; her daughter, Barbara A. Hill; and her brother, Joseph Stumpf.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Gary) Bridgewater; son-in-law, Ronald E. Hill; grandchildren, Amy (Tony) Board, Laura (Mick) Mates, Jill Wells, and Jerod Bridgewater; great grandchildren, Paige and Julia Wells; Michael and Nicholas Mates; and Katherine and Christopher Board; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2017, 5 to 8 p.m., at Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6017 S. East Street (US Hwy 31), where morning prayers will be said at 9:30 on Friday, February 24, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Friday, February 24, 2017, in St. Roch Catholic Church, 3600 S.
