Larry V. Zapp

Larry V. Zapp, 83, lifelong Indianapolis resident, passed away May 27, 2021. Mr. Zapp was born October 7, 1937, to the late Lawrence and Helen (Smith) Zapp.

Larry graduated from Cathedral High School in 1955 and attended Marian University before serving in the United States Navy for 8 years. He worked for Conrail and CSX Railroads for a total of 43 years, retiring in 2000. He was an avid tennis player and bowler, participating in various leagues through the years. Larry was a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and enjoyed all kinds of landscaping projects. He will be fondly remembered by a loving family and friends.

Survivors include his significant other, Nora Brawner; children, Steven, Alan, and Debra Zapp; grandchildren, Anthony, Samerah, and Samantha. He was preceded in death by a sister, Caroline Ferrante.
