Dolores F. Burianek

Dolores F. Burianek, 97, of St. Paul, Minnesota, passed away on August 17, 2023, in Greenwood, Indiana. Dolores was born to the late Leo & Agnes Knott in St. Paul, Minnesota, on April 9, 1926. Prior to marrying the love of her life, Dolores worked for The Great Northern Railroad. After retirement, Dolores made Arizona her home for over 32 years. She was an avid Bridge player and was always happy to play with her friends. Dolores enjoyed summer visits with family in her hometown of St. Paul when she had the opportunity. She loved to play golf and enjoyed socializing with her many friends and family as well. Dolores could often be found at the Mall or in her favorite Hallmark store, as she loved to shop. She was strong-willed and very independent. Dolores will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Dolores is survived by her sons; Jeffrey Burianek, Mark (Joy) Burianek, Terry (Karen) Burianek and Thomas (Sheryl) Burianek, 12 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years; Frank Burianek and brothers; John & Leo Knott.

Visitation will be held at St. Francis & Claire of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (5901 W. Olive Branch Rd., Greenwood, Indiana 46143) on Tuesday August 22, 2023, from 10:00am-11:00am with Mass beginning at 11:00am in the church.

Additional services for Dolores will be held at St. Pascal Baylon Catholic Church, in St. Paul, Minnesota on Thursday, October 5, 2023, with inurnment at Fort Snelling Veteran Cemetery immediately following. Please check back for service times.
