Frances M. Rudisill, 66, of Indianapolis, passed away in her home on Monday, March 11, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Frances was born April 29, 1952 to the late Oliver Gordon Pointer, Sr. and Mary Frances (Quattrocchi) Pointer. Her father was a career military man, and was stationed in Tacoma, Pierce County, Washington at the time of her birth. On August 16, 1975, Frances was united in marriage to Deron Rudisill and he survives.
Frances grew up on the southside of Indianapolis and was a graduate of Southport High School. She retired from J.P. Morgan Chase Bank following many years of service. She was an excellent cook of Italian heritage cuisine, and enjoyed football. Frances was a loving wife, mother, and devoted grandmother.
Along with her parents, she also preceded in death by her brother, Oliver Pointer, Jr. and two sisters, Mary Ann Carroll and Nancy Johnson.
Other survivors include her daughter, Lisa Rudisill; two sisters, Dorothy (Paul) Raimondi of Indianapolis, and Sally (John) Dolby of Crenshaw, Kentucky; her brother, Vincent Pointer of Lenzburg, Illinois; two grandchildren, Cody Rudisill and Anna Haines; her future son-in-law, Jay Beeler; along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Frances M. Rudisill from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2019 in the Daniel F. O’Riley Funeral Home, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 15, 2019 in the funeral home with burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
