Linda Joyce Clark

Linda Joyce Clark, 78 of Indianapolis, passed away January 17, 2024.  She was born on March 2, 1945 in Winchester, Kentucky to James C. and Nancy R. Muir Jones.

Linda graduated from Warren High School in 1963 and the Police Academy.

Linda worked for the Marion County Sheriff's Department for 12 years.  She worked mostly as a correctional officer.

Linda was very supported of the Humane Society and Disable American Veterans.  She enjoyed gambling, going to the casinos, doing scratch off’s, she was known as Lucky Lady Linda, riding horses, playing softball, going to car shows.  She was a composer of poetry and other writings.

Linda is survived by her beloved family, Ronnie (Robin) Heugel, Shelly (Kelly) Hayes, love of her life Dean Terry, brother Robert (Jean) Jones, grandchildren Meghan, Sage, McKenzie, great grandchildren Andrew, Naomi, Lilli, Viviann, Charlie, Piercy.  

Linda is preceded in death by her parents James and Nancy Jones, sister Ann VanVolkenburgh.
