Marcia J. (Jahnke) Page

September 12, 1932 — October 10, 2022

Marcia J. (Jahnke) Page, 90, of Greenwood, passed away in the early morning hours of October 10, 2022. Marcia was born on September 12, 1932, in Indianapolis to the late Harold and Esther (Roell) Jahnke. Marcia grew up in Fountain Square, belonging to St. Patrick Catholic Church and graduating from St. Agnes Academy. On April 19, 1952, in Holy Name Catholic Church Marcia wed Robert Ellis Page. The pair enjoyed 64 years of marriage until Robert passed away on December 7, 2016.

A devoted wife and loving mother, Marcia proudly raised her five children. She was an immaculate housekeeper who took pride in her home. As her children went on to adulthood, Marcia began working as a receptionist at St. Francis Hospital. Marcia and Robert were active members of Holy Name Catholic Church and most recently, Our Lady of the Greenwood Catholic Church.

Reading, spending time with her children and grandchildren, shopping, wintering in Florida, and cooking dinner for friends were the many things you could find Marcia doing if she was not working or at church. She will be remembered as a beautiful woman with an unmatched love for her family.

Along with her parents and husband, Marcia was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Jahnke, and a grandson, Jonathan Page.

Survivors include her children, Deborah (Larry) Rademacher, Jeffrey (Beth) Page, Brian (Becki) Page, Scott (Holly) Page, and Michael (Julie) Page; sister-in-law, Carol Jahnke; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and friends.
