Mark A. Livingston

Mark A. Livingston, 71, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on June 18, 1952, in Bloomington Indiana to John and Dorothy Masters Livingston.  

Mark graduated from Miami Springs High School in Miami Springs, Florida.  He worked for General Motors Allison Transmissions for 35 years, retiring in 2009.

Mark enjoyed playing golf, shooting guns, car racing, and helped run race cars for buddies.   He was a huge Rock & Roll fan.  He and Christine did a lot of traveling and camping.

On September 7, 1974, he married the love of his life Christine Summeier Livingston, who survives.  Other survivors are his sisters-in-law, Susie Livingston and Nancy Livingston, 1 niece, and 4 nephews.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, David Livingston, and John Livingston, and sister and brother-in-law Quindria and Bill Young.

Visitation for Mark will be on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O’Riley-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.  A Celebration of Life will follow at 4:00 PM.
