Mary Joyce (Grafton) Bell

Mary Joyce Bell(Grafton), 72, passed away on January 15, 2023.

 

She was born September 20,1950 in Loogootee, IN to Ralph and Ada Grafton. Mary Jo graduated from St. John Catholic School in 1968.

 

She married Jeffrey A. Bell on October 9, 1971. He precedes her in death.

 

Mary Jo was employed as a Receptionist by Dezelan Insurance Agency (formerly Grain Dealers Mutual Agency) for 40 years, until her retirement in 2014.  She enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and spending time with her friends. She was a member of the Holy Name Ladies Auxiliary and she was a longtime member of St. Mark Catholic Church.

 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Bell, son Alan Bell, parents Ralph and Ada (McKinney) Grafton, and brothers Michael and Daniel Grafton.  

 

She is survived by her son, Bradley (Angie) Bell, daughter Diane Bell, Rita Grafton, sister-in-law, and  6 grandchildren.

 

Mary Jo’s Life Celebration Mass will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church on Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11am, followed by graveside services at Calvary Cemetery.
