Paulette JoAnn Sebolboro

April 7, 1949 — December 24, 2023

Auburn, Washington

Paulette JoAnn Sebolboro, 74, Auburn, Washington, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Indianapolis, December 24, 2023, after a brief illness with cancer.  Paulette was born April 7, 1949, in Gifu, Japan, to the late Paul and Mishiko (Kawashima) Shaw.  Paulette was united in marriage to German Sebolboro in 1974, and he preceded her in death in December 2011.

Paulette worked in the Auburn School District for many years, retiring in August 2022 as the middle school registrar.  She touched many lives during her time with the school district and will be fondly remembered by her co-workers and many students.  Working for the school system availed Paulette the opportunity to travel and spend time with her family during the summer months.  She had a generous spirit and was always willing to help those in need.  Above all, Paulette was strongly devoted to her family and enjoyed creating memories with her beloved grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Matthew Sebolboro, Jeremy (Natalie) Sebolboro, and Leilani Sebolboro (Zach Heiden); brothers, Philip and Michael Shaw; sister, Debbie (Bruce) Harley; four grandchildren, Julius, Halia, Pantera, and Noa.

Paulette will be cremated and inurned with German at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.  A memorial service to celebrate Paulette’s life will be held at a later date in Auburn.  Visit www.ORileyBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
