Roger “Rinell'' Vincent, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at home with the love of his wife & children surrounding him. He made his home in Factoryville, PA for 38 years, then in Snow Hill, MD before his final home in Indianapolis, IN. He was the son of the late Roger Rex Vincent and Elaine Lydia DuCharme & son-in-law of the late Foster Lebengood Deibert Sr. & Ruth Katherine McKeown. He was born on November 25, 1947, in Madison, Wisconsin. Rinell was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania. He was also a member of the Factoryville Sportsmen's Club, American Legion, VFW, and the NRA.
Rinell and his beloved wife, Mary Edna, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on 6-5-2021 with all of their family together. Faith, family, and country were the three most important things in his life. Rinell heard the call of his country and proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War with honor.
Rinell was an avid outdoorsman and sports fan. Rinell enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, golfing, and teaching his 13 beloved precious joys everything the outdoors can offer. Even though Rinell lived most of his life in PA, Rinell was a devout Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badger football fan. He loved supporting his teams and encouraging his grandkids to love them too. Rinell had the pleasure of working in the agriculture industry his entire career. His passion for farming, farmers, and cows led him to the Artificial Insemination (AI industry) where he got to “spread the bull” for 45+ years. He loved his job, especially working with his dealers and the farmers. He never drove past a farm without stopping as he said, “I’ve never met a stranger!”
He was a “Good” man and an amazing, loving husband, father, son, brother & friend. He would do anything for anyone. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, his wife, children, and his precious joys.
Rinell is preceded in death by his parents Roger Rex and Elaine Lydia DuCharme Vincent, and parents-in-law Foster L. Deibert Sr. and Ruth M. Deibert.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Edna, and children Heather (Mark) Naessig, Mariruth (Mathew) Vaughan, Gretchen (Jeremy) Schoettle, Preston (Jenn) Vincent, Rinell (Brittney) Vincent. His 13 precious joys, Madison (Clayton) Goodspeed, Peyton - Collin, Hunter, Jaden, Taner - Bayley, Regan, Sydney - Ella, Reid - Layne, and Morgan. Sister Nicky (Dick) Timm, brother Craig “Skip” Vincent, nephew and nieces, and many other extended family members.
His family will continue his legacy by living a life full of love and caring for one another.
Celebrations of Rinell’s life will be held at a later date in Factoryville, PA, and Madison, WI.
