Robert Eugene Blanford

Robert Eugene Blanford, 92 of Indianapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.  He was born on September 23, 1931, in Indianapolis to Oliver Eugene and Kathryn Bauer Blanford.

Robert served his country in the U.S. Army.  He worked for Eli Lilly and Company in receiving and distribution for 36 years, retiring in 1993.

Robert was a member of the St. Mark Catholic Church.  His favorite pastime was playing golf.

Robert is survived by his sister Jeannine Binder, nieces and nephews, Kim Hopkins, Trina Wafle, Darren Binder, Elisa Bruce, Jennifer Morss, Don Masten, and Tim Masten and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Robert will be Thursday, March 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at O’Riley-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory, 6107 S. East Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227.  His funeral service will be Friday, March 22, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
